Sean Martin, a native of Ireland, graduated from Dublin City University in 1985. The following year, he immigrated to New York to work in the field of communications. He began working at Between The Bread and managed their a la carte Italian restaurant in NYC named Aglio E Olio. Sean took an opportunity to oversee operations at an onsite catering hall in 1991 in Queens, NY, planning and executing events. At the same time, from 1994-1999, he owned and operated a restaurant in Flushing, New York, and a bar in Sunnyside, NY. Sean immersed himself in those food and entertainment businesses.
In 2000, Sean returned to Between The Bread, bringing his vast experience with him. He quickly rose to Head of Sales, and for almost 20 years, along with the BTB team, Sean has built a reputation as one of New York's premiere event planners, who consistently delivers on his promises. Now the Chief Operating Officer for BTB, Sean uses his years of experience, attention to detail and care for his clients to fulfill the mission of Between The Bread.
